In these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to JL Pristine Exteriors.
“You” and “the Customer” refer to the person or organisation purchasing our services.
2. Scope of Services
We provide exterior cleaning and property maintenance services, including but not limited to:

Gutter cleaning

Pressure washing

Driveway and patio cleaning

Render cleaning

Soffit washing

Car park cleaning

Window cleaning
All services are subject to site inspection and availability.
3. Quotations
3.1 All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
3.3 Quotations are based on visible inspection. If additional issues are discovered during the work (including hidden damage, structural weaknesses, or unexpected contamination), we reserve the right to revise the quote.
3.4 Acceptance of a quote (verbally, electronically, or in writing) forms a binding contract subject to these Terms & Conditions.
4. Booking & Payment Terms
4.1 Payment is due immediately upon completion of work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
4.2 We reserve the right to request a deposit before commencing work.
4.3 Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at booking.
4.4 Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs and statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (where applicable).
5. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
Provide safe and clear access to the property
Ensure water and electricity supply (if required)
Remove vehicles, fragile items, and valuables from work areas
Inform us of any known defects, damage, or structural issues
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.
6. Cancellations & Consumer Rights
6.1 If you book our services remotely (online, by phone, or email), you may have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6.2 If you request that work begins within the 14-day cancellation period, you agree:
To waive your right to cancel once the service is fully completed
To pay for work carried out up to the cancellation date if cancelled mid-service
6.3 Cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable).
7. Weather & Delays
Exterior cleaning is weather dependent.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to:

Rain
-
High winds
-
Freezing conditions
-
Unsafe working conditions
We will rearrange the booking at the earliest mutually convenient date.
8. Pre-Existing Damage & Surface Conditions
8.1 We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Loose or damaged tiles
-
Weak mortar or pointing
-
Cracked render
-
Fragile surfaces
-
Previously repaired areas
-
Poor installation
8.2 Pressure washing and cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects that were not visible before cleaning.
8.3 Some staining (including oil, rust, lichen, or deep organic growth) may not be fully removable. We do not guarantee complete stain removal.
9. Results & Guarantees
9.1 We aim to deliver high-quality results.
9.2 However, due to the nature of exterior cleaning, we cannot guarantee permanent results or specific timeframes for regrowth prevention unless explicitly agreed in writing.
9.3 Any guarantees provided will be confirmed in writing.
10. Liability
10.1 We hold appropriate public liability insurance.
10.2 Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total value of the services provided.
10.3 We are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses

Loss of business or income
-
Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control

Pre-existing structural weaknesses
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Access Equipment & Working at Height
Where work requires specialist equipment:

The Customer must ensure the structure is safe and suitable

We reserve the right to refuse access if unsafe

Additional equipment costs may apply if specialist access is required
12. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion.
We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, return to rectify genuine service-related concerns.
13. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
